International Green Building Certification awarded to projects in Thai Nguyen

Recently, TNG Land Joint Stock Company, in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, held a ceremony to install the EDGE certification plaque for the TNG Son Cam Administration Building and to present the EDGE Design Certification for the Homie City project. The certifications were independently assessed and verified by SGS, an international certification body within the global EDGE system.

The Homie City project received EDGE certification across multiple categories, including social housing, shophouses and mini hotels, achieving energy and water savings of between 25% and 35% while significantly reducing carbon emissions associated with construction materials. Meanwhile, the TNG Son Cam Administration Building attained the EDGE Advanced certification, with energy savings of up to 40%.

EDGE, which stands for Excellence in Design for Greater Efficiencies, is an international green building certification system currently applied in more than 170 countries worldwide.

The achievement of internationally recognized green building certifications by projects in Thai Nguyen not only demonstrates the developer’s commitment to sustainable development but also contributes to promoting green urban development, improving quality of life, and advancing a modern, environmentally friendly urban-industrial ecosystem.
