The delegation surveys the Residential Area Project No. 1 in Quan Trieu Ward.

The delegation reviewed documents and carried out on-site inspections of four projects, including Son Cam Industrial Clusters No.1 and No.3, Residential Area Project No.1, and Resettlement Area Project No.2.

Thanks to the active involvement of local authorities, compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance work in the ward have recently been carried out in accordance with legal procedures and regulations. However, some difficulties remain, mainly related to resettlement arrangements for affected households.

Local authorities are implementing various measures and strengthening direction in compensation, support, and resettlement work, while also enhancing public communication and mobilization efforts to build consensus and improve residents’ compliance in project areas.

The Provincial People’s Council acknowledged the current situation as well as recommendations and proposals from the locality. The findings will be compiled into a report submitted to the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Council, with recommendations for the Provincial People’s Committee to direct solutions to the issues raised.
