During the peak period marking major national holidays in late April, Thai Nguyen simultaneously launched construction on 10 key projects with a total investment of more than VND 8.2 trillion, creating a strong impression in its strategy to expand industrial, urban, and social welfare infrastructure.

Among them, Ha Chau 1 and Ha Chau 2 Industrial Clusters in Diem Thuy Commune, with a combined investment of more than VND 1.35 trillion and covering nearly 95 hectares, have become new highlights in the province’s industrial development strategy.

Mr. Vu Ngoc Tan, General Director of Thuong Dinh Group and investor of Ha Chau 1 Industrial Cluster, shared: “Ha Chau is not simply a place providing production space, but a location where strategic partners are ready to accompany businesses for long-term and sustainable development.

We understand that every factory built represents a major aspiration of investors. Therefore, we are committed to listening, providing support, and resolving difficulties related to administrative procedures, legal matters, and operational issues, while maintaining the highest service quality to ensure maximum stability for production and business activities.”

According to the adjusted 2021–2030 master plan, Thai Nguyen aims to develop 38 industrial parks and centralized information technology parks with a total area of more than 14,100 hectares, along with 74 industrial clusters covering over 4,000 hectares. So far, the province has established 12 industrial parks and 41 industrial clusters, gradually forming a modern, interconnected, and sustainable production system.

Mr. Nguyen Tien Cuong, Deputy Director of the Thai Nguyen Department of Industry and Trade, stressed: “Industrial infrastructure and industrial clusters have proven effective, especially through the review and completion of development plans for industrial parks and clusters under the adjusted Thai Nguyen provincial master plan for 2021–2030, with a vision to 2050.

This serves as a basis for attracting industrial investment projects, prioritizing high-tech, advanced, and high-value-added industries that contribute positively to the state budget while ensuring environmental protection. This will remain a consistent orientation for the province in the coming period.”

In addition to expanding industrial scale, Thai Nguyen is focusing on in-depth industrial development, prioritizing high technology, supporting industries, and environmentally friendly sectors. The new industrial clusters are expected to promote economic restructuring, develop services and logistics, and enhance the province’s overall competitiveness.

Mr. Doan Van Giap, a resident of Diem Thuy Commune, said: “For residents, we all hope that new projects will create more jobs, improve living standards, and increase incomes for local people.”

Mr. Nguyen Viet Dai, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Diem Thuy Commune, said: “The investment in Ha Chau 2 Industrial Cluster will first help create jobs for residents. Secondly, the living standards of people in this area will improve significantly.”

The simultaneous launch of a series of key projects not only demonstrates Thai Nguyen’s determination to accelerate development but also affirms its long-term vision of building a modern, green, and sustainable industrial center.
