At 8:30 a.m. on April 28, the groundbreaking ceremony for projects commemorating the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026) was held simultaneously at nine locations across Thai Nguyen Province. A total of 10 projects were launched, with combined investment capital of nearly VND 8.5 trillion.
In celebration of the 51st anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 – April 30, 2026) and the 140th anniversary of International Workers’ Day (May 1, 1886 – May 1, 2026), Thai Nguyen Province held the opening ceremony of the “Industry and Trade – OCOP Thai Nguyen” Fair and Exhibition 2026 on the evening of April 29.
On the morning of April 26 (the 10th day of the third lunar month), a solemn incense-offering ceremony in commemoration of the Hung Kings was held at Hung Vuong Communal House, a provincial-level historical and cultural relic site in Phan Dinh Phung Ward.
On the afternoon of April 22, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, chaired a working session between the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee on the implementation of industrial park and industrial cluster projects across the province.
From a midland province with strong agricultural advantages, Thai Nguyen is undergoing a major transformation to become an industrial hub of the region. In particular, the rapid development of the electronics industry in recent years has created a significant boost to economic growth, attracting investment and generating jobs for hundreds of thousands of workers.
