Recently, authorities of Thai Nguyen Province and Cao Bang Province held a working session in Thai Nguyen to discuss and agree on coordination mechanisms for implementing the Bac Kan–Cao Bang Expressway Construction Investment Project, particularly the section passing through Thai Nguyen Province.

On May 30, a launch ceremony was held in La Bang Commune, Thai Nguyen Province, to kick off the campaigns “Building Orderly, Disciplined, Civilized and Attractive Communes and Wards” and “Building New Rural Areas, Promoting Sustainable Poverty Reduction.

On May 27, Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, together with a provincial delegation, visited and presented gifts to students at the Bac Kan Center for Inclusive Education Development Support in Duc Xuan Ward, joining them in celebrating International Children’s Day (June 1).

On May 22, the University of Information and Communication Technology under Thai Nguyen University held a signing ceremony for a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Samsung Vietnam and Letuin High Tech Vietnam Company, while also launching the 2026 Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) Program.

Under the province’s revised master plan, Thai Nguyen continues to accelerate the development of industrial parks and industrial clusters, expand production space, attract investment, and create new growth drivers, gradually affirming its role as an industrial hub of the Northern Midlands and Mountainous region.
