Amid the early summer heat, Nui Coc Lake remains one of the most popular attractions for visitors to Thai Nguyen. With its picturesque waterscape and a wide range of recreational and leisure activities, the destination is well suited for families and groups of young travelers.

Visitor Hung Thi Loi from Ha Giang Province shared: "Nui Coc Lake is a very famous tourist destination in Thai Nguyen, so I wanted to come here at least once to explore and experience this attraction".

Beyond traditional sightseeing, many young travelers today are seeking more immersive experiences. In renowned tea-growing areas such as Tan Cuong and La Bang, visitors can wake up amid mist-covered tea hills, join local farmers in tea picking, learn traditional tea-processing techniques, and enjoy tea tasting with residents.

Visitor Vu Thu Ha from Hanoi said: "The tea here is fresh, clean, and grown using organic farming methods. I came here to visit the tea plantations, purchase some local tea products, and learn more about how tea is produced".

While Nui Coc Lake offers a more modern tourism experience, Ba Be Lake captivates visitors with its pristine beauty, tranquility, and rich Viet Bac cultural heritage. Travelers can spend the morning boating across the emerald waters, try water sports such as stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) and kayaking, explore Tay ethnic villages in the afternoon, and enjoy traditional Then singing around a campfire in the evening.

Visitor Nguyen Thi Mai Huong from Tan Cuong Commune, Thai Nguyen Province, said: "This is honestly my first visit to Ba Be Lake. Even during the journey here, the majestic mountains, clouds, and natural scenery made everyone in our group feel excited and delighted. Once we arrived and saw the lake, the unique landscape, and the beautiful accommodations, we were truly impressed".

Đát Ngao Waterfall (Quan Chu Commune) is a popular destination for young people seeking to “cool off” during the summer heat.

In addition to lakes and tea hills, Thai Nguyen’s summer tourism offerings also include nature exploration destinations. Hidden within a primeval forest, Dat Ngao Waterfall in Quan Chu Commune impresses visitors with its crystal-clear waters, cool climate, and largely untouched natural beauty.

Visitor Tran Van Tin from Tuyen Quang Province stressed: "I came here to enjoy the natural scenery, the mountains, and the beautiful landscape. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet. I also appreciate the environment and the local cuisine. Personally, I no longer enjoy crowded and noisy urban areas".

Alongside leisure travel, adventure tourism is becoming increasingly popular among young visitors. From exploring Phoenix Cave, Fairy Cave, Hua Ma Cave, and Tham Phay Cave to trekking through the primeval forests of Ba Be National Park and the eastern slopes of Tam Dao National Park, Thai Nguyen is gradually shaping a range of nature-based tourism products centered on adventure, outdoor sports, and the exploration of local ecosystems.

A destination that is not too far, offers reasonable travel costs, and provides opportunities for relaxation, discovery, and a deeper connection with nature; these are likely the reasons why an increasing number of travelers are choosing Thai Nguyen for their summer journeys.
