Following the administrative merger, the new Tan Cuong Commune possesses significant advantages for developing the tea economy and ecotourism. With the geographical indication “Tan Cuong” and the National Intangible Cultural Heritage designation for the “Knowledge of Tan Cuong Tea Cultivation and Processing,” the locality has a solid foundation for developing high-quality agricultural production, deep processing, e-commerce, exports, and tea culture experience tourism. In addition, Tan Cuong has strong potential for ecotourism, community-based tourism, and resort development.

At the meeting, local leaders reported on the implementation progress of several key projects in the area. The commune also proposed that the province support efforts to attract strategic investors to planned industrial zones, invest in and restore historical sites, and introduce specific mechanisms, policies, and guidelines to promote community-based tourism and tea culture experience tourism. The locality also called for investment in transport infrastructure and stronger connectivity among tourism routes and destinations.

Concluding the meeting, the Provincial Party Secretary directed Tan Cuong Commune to focus on maximizing its two core strengths: tea production and tourism. He also requested relevant departments and agencies to work closely with the locality to address challenges, finalize planning schemes, strengthen investment attraction, and develop synchronized infrastructure.

These efforts are aimed at enabling Tan Cuong to fully realize its potential and advantages, gradually becoming the tea economy, ecotourism, and resort tourism hub of Thai Nguyen Province in the coming years.
