On June 9, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee held an online conference connecting with communes and wards across the province to launch a peak month campaign for periodic health check-ups for residents. The conference was chaired by Mr. Bui Van Luong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council.

In line with the Central Government’s policy on strengthening the protection, care, and improvement of public health, as of June 7, a total of 670,417 residents across the province had received periodic health check-ups or health screening examinations, while 1,105,952 residents had yet to undergo such examinations.
Several communes and wards have achieved high examination rates, including Van Xuan (85.94%), Song Cong (81.68%), Gia Sang (80.95%), Tich Luong (77.41%), Bang Van (83.80%), and Phan Dinh Phung (76.88%).
However, some localities continue to record very low participation rates, including Thuong Minh (2.15%), Duc Xuan (3.75%), Na Ri (4.96%), Dan Tien (5.49%), Nghia Ta (6.04%), Kim Phuong (6.25%), Phuong Tien (6.87%), Tan Khanh (6.96%), and Binh Thanh (9.73%).
During the conference, delegates highlighted several challenges in implementing free periodic health check-ups and health screening programs for residents throughout the province.
In his concluding remarks, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council directed local authorities to review and classify residents who have not yet undergone health examinations to develop appropriate implementation plans. He also instructed hospitals to work closely with local authorities to ensure health check-ups are conducted on schedule.
The Thai Nguyen Provincial Federation of Labor was tasked with directing grassroots trade unions to coordinate with enterprises in industrial parks to organize health examinations for workers. Meanwhile, the Department of Finance was assigned to advise on resource allocation in accordance with regulations, based on proposals from the health sector.
In addition, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen Province and its member organizations were urged to intensify communication and public awareness efforts to encourage residents to participate in health examinations, to complete health check-ups for all residents across the province before October 30.
