When mentioning the carpentry in Phu Binh district, many people immediately think of the traditional carpentry in Phuong Do village, located in Xuan Phuong commune. This village has a long-standing tradition and has established a reputable market presence inside and outside Thai Nguyen province.

After almost 10 years, we had the opportunity to return to Suoi Cat hamlet, Ha Thuong commune, Dai Tu district. The road to the hamlet’s Cultural House is now widened and concreted with two lanes. On both sides of the roadways we saw lush green rice fields, and nice large houses. What impressed us the most during this visit is the cultural exhibition corner of the Cao Lan ethnic minority people, a distinctive cultural space supported by Nui Phao Mining Company.

On November 14, the Education and Training Division of Thai Nguyen City held the science and technology competition opening ceremony for secondary school students. Leaders, teachers, and 106 8th and 9th grade students from 37 secondary schools in the city attended the competition.

Recently, in Lai Chau City, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in coordination with the People's Committee of Lai Chau province, held the first-ever festival of ethnic minority groups with population of less than 10,000.

In 2023, Võ Nhai district cultivated nearly 5,000 hectares of rice, exceeding their plan by 104 percent. In particular, about 3,260 hectares sown during the rainy season, with almost 500 hectares devoted to hybrid rice, constituting 15 percent of the total area.
