The 14th-term Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Council has just passed a Resolution adjusting the Provincial Master Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050. This is an important milestone, reflecting a shift in development thinking, expanding development space, restructuring growth-driving regions and corridors, and affirming Thai Nguyen’s role as a growth pole in the Northern Midlands and Mountainous Region.
In celebration of the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 – February 3, 2026), welcoming the success of the 14th National Party Congress, and continuing to concretize the Party’s major guidelines on digital transformation and the promotion of historical and cultural heritage values, on February 2, at the National Historical Site where the first Communist Party organization of Thai Nguyen Province was established, the Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with Mobifone Thai Nguyen Branch, held the inauguration ceremony of a youth project on digitizing the site.
Recently, Thai Nguyen Province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the project to construct the new Gia Bay Bridge, a key and urgent transport project aimed at remedying the consequences of disasters, enhancing the flood drainage capacity of the Cau River, and completing the central urban infrastructure of Thai Nguyen Province.
Amid industrial growth and global integration, Thai Nguyen retains a unique hallmark: tea. From a traditional agricultural product, Thai Nguyen tea is gradually becoming a cultural symbol and a key element of the province’s identity on the map of integration.
Recently, in Thai Nguyen, the Standing Committees of the Party Committees of Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, and Phu Tho provinces held a conference to agree on major orientations for coordination and development linkage.
