On the morning of March 10, Thai Nguyen Province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the Huu Cau dike section from Cao Ngan Bridge to Thac Huong Dam. This is a key project within the flood control system for the central area of Thai Nguyen Province. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee.

Recently, the Provincial Council for the Coordination of Legal Dissemination and Education held a ceremony to review and award prizes for the online competition titled “Learning about the Law on Elections of National Assembly Deputies and People’s Council Deputies” across the province.

These days, enterprises across Thai Nguyen province are actively promoting information about the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term. The activities aim to raise awareness and strengthen workers’ and employees’ sense of responsibility as they approach the nationwide election day.

To strengthen connections between the local government and the business community, on the morning of March 7, at May Plaza Hotel, the People’s Committee of Thai Nguyen Province held the program “Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs”, with the participation of provincial leaders and a large number of entrepreneurs and businesses in the area.

On the morning of March 7, Luong Ngoc Quyen High School solemnly held a ceremony to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the school’s tradition (1946-2026). Mr. Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, attended the ceremony.

On the morning of March 7, in Cho Moi Commune, the Standing Board of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Nguyen Province organized a meeting between voters and candidates for the 16th National Assembly, Constituency No. 4.

Recently, the Office of the National Election Council held a nationwide online training conference on several aspects of the software used to support the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term. In Thai Nguyen, the conference was connected from the Provincial Election Committee’s venue to the Election Committees of 92 communes and wards.

During the 2021–2025 period, water resource management in Thai Nguyen province recorded many positive developments. The Provincial People’s Committee issued and implemented plans to enforce the Law on Water Resources, and announced the list of internal water sources as well as areas where groundwater exploitation is prohibited or restricted.

In preparation for the election of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026-2031 term, the Detention Facility No. 1 under the Thai Nguyen Provincial Police has urgently and simultaneously made the necessary preparations to enable persons in temporary custody and detention to exercise their voting rights in accordance with the law.
