Developing private enterprises and enhancing the efficiency of state-owned enterprises

The Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee has signed a Decision issuing the Plan to implement the emulation movement "Developing Private Enterprises and Enhancing the Efficiency of State-Owned Enterprises" for the 2026–2030 period.

Under the plan, by 2030, Thai Nguyen aims for the private sector to achieve an average annual growth rate of at least 10.5%, contributing around 50–55% of GRDP. The province also targets 36,000 active enterprises, equivalent to about 20 enterprises per 1,000 people, while raising average annual labor productivity growth to between 8.5% and 9.5%.

At the same time, it will continue to improve the investment and business environment, accelerate the restructuring of state-owned enterprises and improve the efficiency of state capital investment, and preserve and grow state capital.

Through the movement, the province aims to mobilize the strength of the entire political system, foster a dynamic spirit of emulation, encourage innovation, and build a stronger business community, contributing to Thai Nguyen's goal of rapid and sustainable economic growth in the new development period.
