Thai Nguyen honors winners of the 2026 Reading Culture Ambassador Contest

The Organizing Committee of the 2026 Thai Nguyen Reading Culture Ambassador Contest recently held a ceremony to review the competition and honor outstanding individuals and organizations.

The contest attracted participation from more than 500 schools and over 200,000 students across the province. Following the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee selected more than 1,500 written entries and over 100 video submissions for the provincial final round.

A total of 57 individual prizes and 16 collective awards were presented to schools with the highest number of prize-winning students and the highest participation rates. Based on the competition results, the Organizing Committee also selected the three most outstanding contestants to be nominated to the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism for recognition as National Reading Culture Ambassadors 2026.

After seven years, the contest has become a meaningful annual event, helping to foster a love of reading, encourage lifelong reading habits among students, and promote reading culture, while contributing to the development of a learning society across Thai Nguyen Province.
