Thai Nguyen provincial delegation offers incense at Dinh Hoa ATK historical site

A delegation from Thai Nguyen Province, led by Mr. Bui Van Luong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, paid tribute at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House in the Dinh Hoa Special National Historical Site (ATK) and the Pu Don Hill Historical Site in Phu Dinh Commune.

At the Ho Chi Minh Memorial House, the delegates offered incense and flowers in remembrance of President Ho Chi Minh and his immense contributions to Vietnam's struggle for national independence.

During the resistance war against French colonial rule, Dinh Hoa ATK served as the headquarters where President Ho Chi Minh, Party and Government leaders, and central agencies lived and worked. Many landmark decisions made there helped pave the way for Vietnam's victory at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954.

Then the delegation visited the Pu Don Hill Historical Site, where President Ho Chi Minh presided over the ceremony promoting Vo Nguyen Giap to the rank of General. The event marked a historic milestone in the development of the Vietnam People's Army.
