Thai Nguyen leaders pay tribute to fallen soldiers

To mark the 79th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 – July 27, 2026), a delegation from the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, led by Party Secretary Trinh Xuan Truong, offered incense and laid wreaths in tribute to fallen soldiers at the province's Central Martyrs' Memorial on July 27.

In a solemn and respectful atmosphere, the delegates observed a minute of silence to honor the great sacrifices made by the heroes and martyrs who gave their lives for national liberation and reunification.

Provincial leaders pledged to uphold the revolutionary tradition, strengthen unity and innovation, build a clean and strong Party organization, and promote the rapid and sustainable development of Thai Nguyen Province while improving the well-being of its people.

In keeping with Vietnam's tradition of remembering those who sacrificed for the nation, the province has continued to effectively implement policies for people with meritorious service, including gratitude programs, housing assistance, and support for the families of war invalids and martyrs.

In addition to material support, the province has also placed strong emphasis on preserving historical sites and educating younger generations about the nation's revolutionary tradition.

Following the incense offering ceremony at the Central Martyrs' Memorial, the delegation visited the Temple of Doi Can, the leader of the 1917 Thai Nguyen Uprising.
