Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan said the province will focus on developing three strategic value chains in the coming years: high-tech tungsten materials; lead-zinc metallurgy and materials; and titanium materials and new high-tech products. These will serve as key pillars of the deep-processing industry, generating spillover benefits for mechanical engineering, supporting industries, electronics, advanced materials, and high-tech manufacturing.
To ensure these three value chains deliver maximum impact, he stressed the need to build a comprehensive industrial ecosystem while encouraging enterprises to invest in modern production lines, accelerate automation and digital transformation in mining, mineral processing, and refining, improve mineral recovery rates, reduce energy consumption, and minimize emissions.
During the visit, the provincial delegation inspected operations at Thang Long Investment Construction and Mineral Exploitation JSC. The delegation also visited Xuyen Son Kindergarten and Primary School in Than Sa Commune, a facility funded by the company. The school has improved access to education for children from the Tay, Mong, and Dao ethnic communities living in the surrounding area.
