Recently, the Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the People's Committee of La Hien Commune, officially launched the 2026 Promotion and Market Connectivity Program for La Hien Custard Apple and Thai Nguyen Agricultural Products. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with representatives of provincial departments and agencies, residents, and visitors.

La Hien custard apples have long been recognized as one of the commune's signature agricultural products, valued by consumers for their excellent quality, food safety, and distinctive flavor. The commune currently has around 320 hectares of custard apple orchards.
As part of the opening ceremony, the People's Committee of La Hien Commune and the Thai Nguyen Center for Industrial and Trade Promotion signed memoranda of understanding with distributors, supermarket chains, and commercial centers operating in the province. The event also featured the official launch ceremony of the 2026 Promotion and Market Connectivity Program for La Hien Custard Apple and Thai Nguyen Agricultural Products.
The program is expected to boost the consumption of custard apples and other local agricultural products, enhance their market value, and expand market access for local growers.
