To realize the goal of completing 60,000 social housing units by 2030, 35,200 units more than the target assigned by the Government, equivalent to approximately 2.4 times the required figure, Thai Nguyen Province simultaneously broke ground on six social housing projects on June 29 in Phan Dinh Phung, Van Xuan, Linh Son, and Bach Quang wards.

The projects include the Cau Truc Urban Area Project in Bach Quang Ward; two social housing projects for sale and lease in Phan Dinh Phung Ward; the Larista Social Housing Project within the Cao Ngan Residential Area; a social housing project in Van Xuan Ward; and a social housing project within Urban Area No. 2 in Bach Quang Ward.

The six projects cover a total land area of more than 10 hectares and will provide nearly 6,000 apartments for sale and lease based on actual demand.

These large-scale developments will make a significant contribution to the province’s social housing targets while helping to implement the Government’s project to invest in the construction of at least 1 million social housing units for low-income earners and industrial park workers during the 2021–2030 period.

To achieve the target of completing 60,000 social housing units between 2025 and 2030, a substantial amount of work remains.

The entire political system of Thai Nguyen Province is taking decisive action, mobilizing support from the business community, encouraging proactive participation from investors in site clearance and project implementation, and effectively leveraging all available resources to accomplish the goal.
