Ms. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, recently chaired a meeting to review and finalize preparations for the International Tea Festival - Thai Nguyen 2026.

The festival is expected to take place from September through November 2026 and will feature a wide range of distinctive activities, including the opening ceremony of the Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival and celebrations marking the 195th anniversary of the province’s establishment; the launch of the Heritage Train service on the Hanoi–Thai Nguyen route; tea-tasting and tea culture experience programs with celebrities; the International Tea Forum; the “Green Thai Nguyen” Golf Tournament; the Miss Vietnam Heritage pageant; the Vietnam Master Tea Competition; and the “Tea Street” Festival, among other events.
The Vice Chairwoman called for strengthened communication and promotional efforts, as well as comprehensive preparations in infrastructure, urban landscaping, security, safety, healthcare and environmental protection. She also stressed the need to ensure the effective organization of all festival activities.
The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has been assigned as the standing agency responsible for advising, coordinating and monitoring the implementation process, while promptly reporting and proposing solutions to any difficulties or challenges that may arise, thereby contributing to the successful organization of the International Tea Festival - Thai Nguyen 2026.
