According to the conference report, during the first half of the year, ministries, agencies, and local authorities focused on removing bottlenecks in site clearance and the supply of construction materials, thereby accelerating the implementation of national key projects.
The Steering Committee is currently monitoring 55 projects comprising 124 sub-projects. Many projects have been completed and put into operation, contributing to higher public investment disbursement and socio-economic development.
However, the conference also highlighted several challenges, including slow disbursement in some projects, while site clearance and supplies of construction materials in several localities have yet to meet project requirements.
In Thai Nguyen, the province is currently implementing four major transport projects with a total investment of more than VND 57.9 trillion.
Concluding the conference, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung urged ministries, agencies, and localities to focus on resolving bottlenecks related to land clearance, ensuring adequate construction material supplies, expediting investment procedures, and accelerating capital disbursement.
These efforts will help bring projects into operation at the earliest opportunity, expand development space, strengthen regional connectivity, and create new momentum for economic growth.
