The Government Steering Committee for the Development of Science and Technology, Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Project 06 recently held a thematic session on promoting science, technology, and innovation development. Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Head of the Steering Committee, chaired the meeting.

According to reports, after one year and six months of implementing Politburo Resolution No. 57 on breakthrough development in science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, ministries, sectors, and localities have shown significant progress in awareness, thinking, and actions. To date, 29 localities have registered 124 science, technology, and innovation products. Among them, Thai Nguyen is assessed as having the most distinctive product, closely associated with its strength in the tea industry.

At the session, delegates focused on discussing key issues aimed at promoting science, technology, and innovation in the new development phase.

Concluding the meeting, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung, Head of the Steering Committee, requested that ministries, sectors, and localities design tasks based on practical needs, aligned with their respective strengths, resources, and development requirements. He emphasized using application efficiency, commercialization potential, and contributions to socio-economic growth as the key criteria for evaluation, thereby creating substantive growth momentum from science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation.
