Enhancing e-commerce for businesses and household traders

The Department of Industry and Trade of Thai Nguyen Province recently organized a training course to disseminate and enhance awareness of e-commerce in communes and wards in the northern part of the province.

The training course brought together 120 participants, including representatives of enterprises, cooperatives, household businesses, state management officials, market surveillance forces, and youth union members in the area. 

During the course, trainees were introduced by lecturers from the Department of E-Commerce and Digital Economy and the University of Information and Communication Technology (Thai Nguyen University) to a range of topics, including state management of e-commerce in the current context; operational procedures for implementing e-commerce activities at the local level; solutions to promote product consumption on digital platforms; and the application of social networks and artificial intelligence (AI) in online business activities.

In addition to updates on new legal regulations, participants were also guided through practical exercises such as building online storefronts, product promotion, order processing, and the use of AI in generating content, images, and sales videos, as well as conducting livestream sales and digital advertising on online platforms.
