Thai Nguyen successfully hosts its first international football friendly match

The Vietnam national football team recently defeated Myanmar 4-0 at Thai Nguyen Stadium in the first international friendly match ever hosted by Thai Nguyen Province.

Goals from Xuan Son, Xuan Manh, Hoang Hen, and Dinh Bac gave head coach Kim Sang Sik and his team a convincing victory in their final warm-up ahead of the ASEAN Championship 2026.
