Launching ceremony of 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign

On July 15, in Bac Kan Ward, the Standing Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union and the Secretariat of the Provincial Student Association, in coordination with Thai Nguyen University, held the launching ceremony of the 2026 Green Summer Volunteer Campaign.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Youth Union called on volunteer teams to uphold the spirit of initiative, creativity, and responsibility, effectively carry out youth projects and volunteer activities, contributing to local development while spreading positive values throughout the community.

At the event, the Organizing Committee presented gifts to 20 disadvantaged students and children in Bac Kan and Duc Xuan wards. It also received support from businesses and sponsors, including a youth fitness facility worth VND 20 million and 100 English-language scholarships for Youth Union members and student volunteers.

The Organizing Committee also introduced five volunteer teams: New Rural Development and Civilized Urban Areas; AI Literacy; Social Security Support; Science and Technology Transfer Support; and Green Shirt Tutors.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, a series of activities got underway, including a training session on “Digital Youth – Mastering AI,” summer activities and drowning prevention awareness programs for children, environmental clean-up campaigns, urban beautification efforts, and gift presentations to policy beneficiary families in the area.
