Launch of the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign

On May 22, the Standing Committee of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Youth Union, in coordination with the Political Department of Military Region 1 and the Youth Union of the Vietnam National Coal and Mineral Industries Group, launched the 2026 Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign.

Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Lieutenant General La Cong Phuong, Political Commissar of Military Region 1; and Mr. Nguyen Minh Triet, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Student Association attended the event.

In 2026, the Summer Youth Volunteer Campaign will feature a wide range of practical activities focusing on new rural building, civilized urban areas, environmental protection, climate change response, disaster recovery, social welfare, and care and education for children.

The campaign will also support families under preferential treatment policy, people with meritorious contributions to the revolution, disadvantaged students, and border communes facing difficulties, while promoting digital transformation and improving living conditions in remote, mountainous, and ethnic minority areas.

This year’s campaign will continue implementing key programs such as “Exam Season Support,” “Green Summer,” “Red Flamboyant Flower,” “Pink Holiday,” and “Green March”.

On this occasion, gifts and cash support were presented to disadvantaged students and residents in the province.
