Masan High-Tech Materials (UpCOM: MSR) announced that its tungsten refinery, Masan Tungsten Company (MTC), has once again been recognized by the Responsible Minerals Initiative (RMI) as a Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) Conformant Smelter. The achievement marks the ninth consecutive year that MTC has successfully met one of the world's most respected standards for responsible mineral sourcing.
The certification reinforces MTC's capability to meet the highest international expectations for supply chain governance, raw material traceability and sustainable business practices. It also strengthens customer confidence at a time when responsible sourcing and ESG performance have become essential procurement requirements across high-tech industries.
A globally recognized benchmark for responsible mineral sourcing

Developed by the Responsible Minerals Initiative, the Responsible Minerals Assurance Process (RMAP) is one of the world's leading independent assessment programs for mineral processors and refiners. The program verifies that companies operate robust due diligence systems to identify, assess and mitigate risks throughout their mineral supply chains.
Independent audits evaluate management systems, raw material traceability, supplier due diligence, risk management processes and internal controls through comprehensive reviews of operational records, documentation and on-site evidence.
Maintaining RMAP conformance continuously since 2018 demonstrates that MTC has built a resilient governance system capable of delivering consistent compliance while adapting to evolving regulations, market dynamics and increasingly stringent customer expectations.

| Masan High-Tech Materials Achieves RMAP Conformance for the Ninth Consecutive Time |
Achieving RMAP conformance for the ninth consecutive year reflects MTC's long-term investment in transparent governance and disciplined operations, with Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) principles embedded throughout the value chain—from responsible sourcing to finished products.
This integrated approach enables MTC to meet customers' increasingly demanding requirements, not only for product quality and cost competitiveness, but also for supply chain transparency, responsible sourcing and risk management.
In addition to feedstock from the Nui Phao polymetallic mine in Vietnam, MTC sources tungsten concentrates from nearly 100 small-scale mines worldwide. Managing raw materials with diverse geological characteristics while consistently delivering products that meet tight technical specifications requires sophisticated supply chain management and advanced operational capabilities.
To address this complexity, MTC operates a dual-layer control framework. The first layer focuses on responsible sourcing through supplier due diligence, origin verification and supply chain risk assessment. The second layer consists of a comprehensive quality management system that standardizes production processes and ensures raw materials from different origins are processed consistently to meet stringent customer specifications.
Technology-driven manufacturing delivers consistent product quality

Responsible sourcing is complemented by a robust quality assurance system built on advanced manufacturing technologies.
For high-purity, value-added tungsten intermediate products—including Ammonium Paratungstate (APT), Blue Tungsten Oxide (BTO) and Yellow Tungsten Oxide (YTO)—MTC integrates in-process controls, independent laboratory analysis, automation, artificial intelligence and real-time process monitoring to maintain rigorous control across every stage of production.
The refinery also operates under more than 500 standardized operating procedures and work instructions, covering every production area and critical process.
A centrally managed documentation system is regularly reviewed and continuously updated, enabling standardized operations, performance trend monitoring, early anomaly detection and continuous process optimization.
As a result, MTC consistently delivers uniform product quality across production batches while meeting the demanding technical requirements of customers worldwide.
A passport to the world's most demanding supply chains

For companies operating in the technology, automotive, semiconductor, energy and defense sectors, responsible mineral sourcing has become an increasingly important criterion in supplier qualification and procurement decisions.
RMAP conformance provides independent verification that MTC's sourcing practices meet internationally recognized responsible minerals standards, giving customers greater confidence in the integrity, transparency and resilience of its supply chain.
Long-standing partnerships with global industry leaders—including Mitsubishi Materials, H.C. Starck, Kennametal and TaeguTec—reflect the trust MSR has earned through consistent product quality, operational excellence and responsible business practices.
As one of Masan Group's strategic growth platforms, Masan High-Tech Materials continues to strengthen its global tungsten business by maintaining internationally recognized governance standards.
The company's ninth consecutive RMAP conformance further enhances customer confidence, expands access to global markets and reinforces MSR's position as a trusted, responsible and sustainable supplier of advanced tungsten materials for the world's most critical industries.
