Thai Nguyen: Nearly 17,800 candidates participating in the English Olympiad

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang recently signed Decision No. 567/QD-TTg, recognizing Phu Binh district as meeting the new rural development criteria in 2022. Therefore, Phu Binh is the first district in Thai Nguyen province to be recognized for meeting the new rural development criteria.

Recently, the Chairman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee signed Decision No. 1021 to establish a special working group to solve difficulties, obstacles, and support businesses, investors, and investment projects in the province. Land clearance is always the most challenging issue for most projects, and the establishment of this group to solve this problem. 

From May 19th to 23rd, Masan High-Tech Materials participated in displaying its products at the Thai Nguyen OCOP Industry & Trade 2023 Exhibition. This year's exhibition had a unique feature where, alongside their usual high-tech material products, Masan High-Tech Materials also introduced Tea and Honey products from two distinctive economic development models that the company has been supporting over the years.

On May 18, Mr. Dang Xuan Truong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Deputy Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a working session with a delegation from Bloomberg Media Channel in the Asia-Pacific region, led by Ms. Sunita Rajan, Regional Director and Head of Delegation, to discuss media cooperation and attracting international investment to Thai Nguyen province.

 On May 15, 2023, the delegation of the National Assembly's Committee on Science, Technology, and Environment, led by Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, conducted a working session at Nui Phao Mining to assess the company's compliance with environmental protection laws.

 From May 5 to 8, 2023, the delegation from the Cooperative Alliance of Thai Nguyen province, along with five tea cooperatives (including Son Dung Tea Cooperative, Tan Huong Tea Cooperative, Hao Dat Tea Cooperative, Tan Cuong Trung Du Tea Cooperative, and Nhat Thuc Tea Cooperative), attended An Huy International Tea Exhibition held at the Hefei Binhu International Exhibition and Conference Center in Hefei, China.

With an export turnover of over 29.88 billion USD, Thai Nguyen ranks fourth in the country in terms of export turnover in 2022.
