The Thai Nguyen Hospital A expansion and upgrade project has a total investment of 200 billion VND. The project includes the construction of a new Obstetrics–Gynecology–Surgery and Anesthesia–Resuscitation Center, featuring eight operating rooms and 230 hospital beds, along with the comprehensive completion of technical infrastructure and several other functional areas. Disbursement to date has reached 139.3 billion VND, accounting for 70%. The project is currently facing difficulties related to medical equipment and operating room interior furnishings.

The Traditional Medicine Hospital construction project has a total investment of more than 266.7 billion VND, covering an area of over 43,000 square metres in Quyet Thang Ward. Disbursement as of the reporting time stood at 213 billion VND, reaching 85.7%.

The project has encountered obstacles due to the inability to mobilise socialised funding sources, the lack of an environmental permit, and the absence of a backup generator, among other issues.

The Vice Chairman requested the Project Management Board to submit weekly progress reports to ensure timely direction and supervision, preventing delays that could affect the efficiency of investment capital for healthcare facilities serving public health needs.
