Thai Nguyen athletes win medals at Asian tournaments

Recently, at Noi Bai International Airport, the Thai Nguyen Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism welcomed provincial athletes back after they competed in the Asian Canoe Sprint Championships, the Asian Beach Games, and the Olympic qualifying round in China.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism welcome and congratulate the coaches and athletes at Noi Bai International Airport.

Three Thai Nguyen athletes competed as part of Vietnam’s national team from April 21 to 27. Nguyen Hong Thai won one gold and one silver medal in canoeing at the Asian Championships.

Le Thi Lan Anh and Vu Thi Ngoc Uyen claimed one silver and two bronze medals in the traditional boat racing event at the Asian Beach Games. The results were praised as a boost to the province’s sports achievements in the time ahead.
