In the first half of 2026, FDI inflows into industrial parks in Thai Nguyen Province exceeded USD 8 billion.

Overall, in the first six months of the year, Thai Nguyen ranked ninth nationwide in economic growth, placing it among the country's best-performing localities. To achieve this result, the province identified an 11 percent GRDP growth target as its top priority from the very beginning of the year.

Provincial leaders conducted regular field inspections and worked closely with departments, agencies and local authorities to remove bottlenecks, accelerate investment projects, speed up public investment disbursement, and promote industrial, commercial, service, and investment development.

At the same time, the province focused on improving the investment and business environment, expediting administrative reforms, and supporting businesses in expanding production. It also took proactive measures to address obstacles related to site clearance, infrastructure development in industrial parks and clusters, and the supply of construction materials for key infrastructure projects.

Notably, following the implementation of the two-tier local government model, the administrative system was quickly stabilized and operated efficiently, ensuring smooth governance and coordination while creating new momentum for the province's socio-economic development.
