Groundbreaking ceremony for completion of CT.07 Hanoi – Thai Nguyen – Cho Moi Expressway Project

On June 30, at the Yen Binh Interchange, the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, in coordination with ministries, central agencies and the investor consortium, held the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to complete the CT.07 Hanoi – Thai Nguyen – Cho Moi Expressway under the public-private partnership (PPP) model.

The CT.07 Hanoi – Thai Nguyen – Cho Moi Expressway project spans more than 99 kilometers, with a total investment of over VND 21.228 trillion.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Le Tien Chau emphasized that the CT.07 Expressway plays a particularly important role in connecting Hanoi with Thai Nguyen, Bac Kan, Cao Bang and international border gates, creating new momentum for industrial, logistics, service and tourism development while expanding development space across the entire Northern Midlands and Mountainous Region.

Representing the investor consortium comprising Phuong Thanh Transport Construction and Investment JSC, Nguyen Minh Infrastructure Development Investment JSC, and Indel Investment and Development JSC, the project investors pledged to mobilize sufficient financial resources, equipment, workforce and advanced technologies to ensure continuous construction and the highest quality standards. They are committed to opening the Hanoi – Thai Nguyen section to traffic in early 2028 and completing the entire project in 2029.
