Thai Nguyen athletes win 6 medals at the 32nd SEA Games

At the 32nd Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) held from May 5th to 17th in Cambodia, Thai Nguyen province had 2 coaches and 10 athletes participating in the Vietnamese Delegation.

Thai Nguyen athletes competed in various sports disciplines: Jujitsu with 4 athletes, Kun Khmer with 2 athletes, Traditional Boat Racing with 2 athletes, and 2 athletes participating in the Women's Football Team.

As a result, the Thai Nguyen athletes won 6 medals, including 2 gold medals and 4 silver medals.

The 2 athletes who won the gold medals were Ta Thi Kim Yen, competing in the 48kg weight category in Kun Khmer, and Bang Thi Mai, competing in the 60kg weight category in Kun Khmer. Notably, athlete Phung Thi Hue, weighing 45kg but competing in the 52kg weight category in Jujitsu, Female-NoGi division, won a silver medal. Athlete Trinh Ke Duong won 2 silver medals in the Show Mexid.
