Thai Nguyen University to strive for 35 percent of training programs to be recognized for quality accreditation

The goal set by Thai Nguyen University by 2025 is to have seven members of higher education institutions and over 35 percent of training programs accredited for educational quality accreditation.

 

In recent time, the member schools of Thai Nguyen University have been well deployed the assessment of higher education institutions according to domestic and foreign quality standards.

Regarding the assessment of higher education institutions, the member universities have completed the self-assessment report of the higher education institution to carry out the following reviews. Thai Nguyen University evaluates three universities at the same level, including the University of Sciences, the University of Medicine and Pharmacy and the University of Agriculture and Forestry. To date, Thai Nguyen University has 3 out of 7 member universities that have completed the external assessment.

Regarding the training programs, Thai Nguyen University has 4 programs to be recognized for the AUN-QA standard, 26 programs passed external assessments, and 18 self-assessment programs. Based on the evaluation delegation's recommendation, the programs with external assessments were planned to improve their quality. 

The assessment and accreditation of training programs and higher education institutions is an important mission for institutions and teachers to proactively ensure the quality of human resources to meet the output standards as committed, meeting requirements in the context of globalization.
