On July 8, Dowooinsys Vina Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of South Korea's NP Group, held a groundbreaking ceremony for its second factory at Song Cong II Industrial Park in Thai Nguyen Province.

Dowooinsys Vina specializes in manufacturing ultra-thin glass for foldable displays, with 100 percent of its output supplied to Samsung Display. In the first phase of its investment in Thai Nguyen, the company invested USD 120 million to build its production facility. In 2025, the company generated more than USD 62 million in revenue in the province and created jobs for over 6,700 workers, including 650 Vietnamese employees, with an average monthly income of more than VND 18 million.
Building on the success of its operations, the company has launched the second phase of its investment with a USD 130 million factory expansion project at Song Cong II Industrial Park.
According to the plan, construction and equipment installation for the second factory will be completed in the first quarter of 2027, followed by trial operations and the official commencement of production in the second quarter of 2027.
