In the joyful atmosphere celebrating the 81st anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2, the opening ceremony of the Cultural and Culinary Festival and the 2026 program connecting the consumption of arrowroot vermicelli and agricultural products of Thai Nguyen Province took place on the evening of August 31 at Song Cau Walking Street in Bac Kan Ward.

Held from August 31 to September 2, the festival provides an opportunity to promote and connect the consumption of agricultural products and distinctive local culinary specialties, while preserving and promoting traditional cultural values.
Through demonstrations, exchanges, and hands-on experiences, the products and dishes are introduced not only to residents and visitors, but also carry stories about the land, its people, and the cultural identity of each locality.
The event thus helps connect production with consumption, expand markets for local products, and create an attractive destination during the National Day holiday.

The festival features 25 OCOP booths showcasing a wide range of local agricultural products, specialties, and processed products. In addition, 21 booths offering culinary demonstrations and food services bring diverse flavors, contributing to a vibrant festival space rich in cultural colors.
In addition to displaying and introducing products, the booths also organize demonstrations, food preparation, and direct serving, allowing residents and visitors to experience the products and dishes.
Alongside the culinary activities, the “Duyen Dang Sac Cham” program, featuring 20 contestants, was also a highlight of the opening night.
