Thai Nguyen reviews preparations for the 2026 International Tea Festival

On July 8, Mrs. Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to review and finalize preparations for the 2026 Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival.

The festival is scheduled to take place from September through November 2026. At the meeting, representatives of departments, agencies, and localities reported on the progress of assigned tasks, while discussing and proposing adjustments to the organization plan to ensure feasibility, coordination, and the overall quality of festival activities.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Loan emphasized that the 2026 Thai Nguyen International Tea Festival will be a major cultural and economic event with both national and international significance. It will provide an important opportunity to promote the province's tourism brand, "Lake on the Mountain – Tea in the Clouds," reinforce Thai Nguyen's position as Vietnam's leading specialty tea-growing region, and boost tourism, trade, investment attraction and international cooperation.

She instructed relevant departments, agencies and localities to continue working proactively and in close coordination to ensure all preparations are completed on schedule and to a high standard. She also stressed the need to strengthen communication efforts to promote the festival's significance and values to both domestic and international visitors.
