Preparing for Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2026

Recently, Mr. Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee and Head of the Organizing Committee for the Opening of Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2026, chaired a meeting to implement activities preparing for the upcoming tourism season.

The Opening Program, themed “Lake on the Mountain – Tea in the Clouds,” will take place at 8:00 p.m. on May 15 at Vo Nguyen Giap Square, Phan Dinh Phung Ward. Within the framework of this year’s tourism season, the province will organize a wide range of attractive activities, including a seminar linked to the “Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs” program; a jet ski performance at Nui Coc Lake Tourist Area in Dai Phuc Commune; the art program “Heritage Echoing in the Great Forest of Ba Be” and the running race “Footsteps Across the Blue Lake Region” at the Ba Be Lake Special National Scenic Site in Ba Be Commune; the National Circus Gala at the provincial sports center; and the award ceremony for the video clip contest promoting Thai Nguyen tourism.

Members of the Organizing Committee reported progress in ensuring public security and order, environmental sanitation, medical services, electricity supply, and facilities at event venues. Communication and promotional work, ceremonial decorations, the development of check-in points, and the bidding process to select event organizers have also been carried out in a synchronized manner.

Concluding the meeting, the Head of the Organizing Committee requested departments, agencies, localities and relevant units to continue close coordination and proactively review all assigned tasks to ensure that all activities are held successfully and safely, leaving a positive impression on residents and visitors.

He also emphasized strengthening communications before, during and after the event to promote the image of a dynamic, friendly, and culturally distinctive Thai Nguyen, thereby attracting more tourists and investors to the province.
