Recently, the 16th Vietnam Economist Annual Meeting (VEAM 2025) took place at the University of Economics and Business Administration (Thai Nguyen University). The conference was connected online with multiple universities around the world.

With the theme “Drivers and policy frameworks for economic growth in Thai Nguyen Province,” delegates focused on analyzing key issues such as productivity, innovation, green transition, the semiconductor industry, and R&D models between universities and enterprises.
Numerous studies were presented, including analyses on chip production policies in several countries, the academic and R&D roles in modern economic development, opportunities and challenges in energy transition, human resource development models for green growth, and the concept of “unlearning” in business education.
The conference served as an academic forum and provided scientific grounds to support the development orientation for Thai Nguyen Province.
