Tourism development survey in Tan Cuong's tea-growing region

Mr. Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, recently led a delegation on a field survey of tourism development linked to the tea-growing region in Tan Cuong Commune.

Tan Cuong is home to a renowned specialty tea-growing area and has strong potential to develop eco-tourism, community-based tourism, agricultural tourism, and tea culture experiences.

Following the survey, the Vice Chairman said Tan Cuong has significant potential to become one of the province's distinctive tourism destinations. In the coming period, the province will welcome investors and launch a range of tourism promotion activities, including the Tea Festival and the Hanoi–Thai Nguyen tourist train service. He stressed the need to proactively prepare the necessary conditions to welcome visitors.

He also urged the commune to promptly finalize a comprehensive tourism development plan with an integrated and well-connected approach; continue expanding high-quality tea-growing areas while applying science and technology to production in support of experiential tourism; and study the development of the night-time economy linked to cultural and sports activities, making full use of the locality's potential and advantages.
