Founded in 1992 in China, Muyuan Foods currently operates more than 1,200 farms across 24 provinces and cities nationwide. In Vietnam, the group plans to invest in modern pig-farming projects in the northern and central regions, with total investment ranging from USD 150 million to USD 200 million. The projects will be implemented in a synchronized manner, with particular emphasis on wastewater treatment systems that meet safety standards.
After hearing Thai Nguyen Province present its potential and advantages in terms of environment and human resources suitable for agricultural development, representatives of Muyuan expressed their desire for the province’s support in selecting locations for farm construction; facilitating administrative procedures; providing infrastructure such as roads, electricity, and telecommunications; assisting with environmental impact assessment procedures and construction permits; and establishing a regular coordination mechanism to ensure smooth project implementation.
