The project covers more than 128 hectares across Diem Thuy Commune, Bach Quang Ward and Pho Yen Ward, with total investment capital of 2.486 trillion VND. Benefiting from convenient transport links and a well-developed technical infrastructure system, Thuong Dinh Industrial Park is designed to attract supporting industries, electronics, mechanical engineering, automotive and motorcycle components, technical support services and logistics, with a focus on high-value-added sectors.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Tran Van Hau said the project, backed by clear commitments to quality and timely implementation, would create additional capacity to attract investment and contribute to the province’s socio-economic development.
He called on the investor to mobilize resources to ensure construction quality, workplace safety and project progress, while proactively attracting secondary projects using advanced, environmentally friendly technologies that align with the province’s industrial development strategy.
The provincial Industrial Parks Management Board and relevant departments and agencies will coordinate with and support the investor in addressing difficulties and obstacles. Local authorities will accelerate compensation, site clearance, resettlement and land handover.
The project is scheduled to be implemented from 2026 to 2028, with the first plots expected to be offered for lease and handed over from April 2027. It is expected to provide around 90 hectares of leasable industrial land. The investor will also provide support services ranging from legal procedures, design and construction, customs and logistics to green energy, training and recruitment.
