'Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs': Helping businesses access bank credit

On August 8, the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee held the fifth “Business Breakfast” program of August 2026, themed “Addressing Difficulties and Supporting Businesses in Accessing Bank Credit for Investment Projects and Business Activities.” The program was attended by Mr. Vuong Quoc Tuan, Chairman of the Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee.

In his opening remarks, Chairman Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that access to capital is a crucial factor for businesses to develop their production and business activities. Thai Nguyen Province has stepped up support for businesses in implementing projects and handling administrative procedures, applying the 24-hour Green Lane and 60% Green Lane mechanisms to facilitate investment projects in the province. With a spirit of partnership, the province expects businesses to make greater efforts to accelerate the disbursement of public investment projects. Provincial leaders expressed their expectation that this would create a breakthrough in the province's economic growth.

Representatives of banks provided an overview of the credit flows that have been and are being provided to Thai Nguyen's economy. They also discussed outstanding issues and possible solutions among provincial leaders, regulators, and businesses to facilitate access to capital and support businesses in developing their production and business activities.

As part of the program, memoranda of understanding were exchanged between Thai Nguyen Iron and Steel Joint Stock Corporation and investors. A credit financing cooperation agreement was also signed for the TNG Viet Bac Social Housing Project.
