Recently, Samsung Vietnam inaugurated the Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) High-Tech Talent Development Center at the University of Information and Communication Technology under Thai Nguyen University.

Covering an area of nearly 1,000 square meters, the center comprises two SIC classrooms, two semiconductor practice rooms equipped with virtual reality and extended reality technologies, two meeting rooms, and other functional areas. Its facilities and technology systems have been comprehensively invested in, creating an environment for in-depth learning and practical training in artificial intelligence, the Internet of Things, big data and semiconductor technology.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Na Ki Hong, General Director of Samsung Vietnam, said the center in Thai Nguyen is expected to provide an environment for in-depth technology training while becoming a hub for developing technology human resources in the northern midland and mountainous region. Samsung also commits to continuing to provide resources and experts to ensure the center operates effectively.
Representing the Thai Nguyen provincial leadership, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Van Hau called on Thai Nguyen University and the University of Information and Communication Technology to coordinate with Samsung and businesses to operate the center effectively, regularly update training programs to meet practical needs, strengthen lecturer training and knowledge transfer, connect experts, and expand internship and employment opportunities for students.
