Comprehensive cooperation agreement between Thai Nguyen Province and Thai Nguyen University

On May 15, Thai Nguyen Province and Thai Nguyen University held a ceremony to sign a Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement for the 2026–2030 period and to launch the Regional Innovation Center. The event marked an important milestone in expanding cooperation between the locality and the higher education institution, aiming toward development driven by knowledge, science, technology, and innovation.

Under the agreement, the two sides will focus on cooperation in key areas, including scientific and technological development, digital transformation, high-quality human resource training, healthcare, innovation, and technology transfer. In particular, the province will prioritize the development of five strategic technology groups: advanced applied AI, semiconductor technology, automation and robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles, and the Internet of Things (IoT).

Speaking at the ceremony, leaders of Thai Nguyen Province and Thai Nguyen University emphasized that the “Government – University – Enterprise” linkage model will serve as a long-term orientation to strengthen connectivity, promote the innovation ecosystem, and contribute to the sustainable socio-economic development of the northern midland and mountainous region.

On this occasion, the Regional Innovation Center was officially launched, with expectations that it will become a core hub connecting knowledge, technology, and the innovation ecosystem of Thai Nguyen Province and the northern midland and mountainous region.
