Residents have reinforced and insulated livestock shelters, providing protection and warmth for cattle, especially at night when temperatures fall. At the same time, they have stockpiled straw, dried grass, and ensure feed supplies during prolonged cold and rainy periods. Specialized agencies have stepped up inspections, vaccination, and health monitoring of livestock, while advising against free grazing when temperatures fall below 12 degrees Celsius. Thanks to these proactive efforts, cold prevention work in the area has yielded positive results, helping to protect livestock health and safeguard local livelihoods. As forecasts indicate continued severe cold conditions, farming households are advised to closely monitor weather and strictly implement cold prevention measures to minimize losses.
