Thai Nguyen’s tourism services grow by 16.5%

In 2025, the total number of tourists visiting Thai Nguyen exceeded 7.3 million, driving a 16.5% increase in accommodation, catering, and tourism services.

In 2025, tourism revenue in the province is estimated to exceed VND 7.4 trillion.

Thai Nguyen boasts a vast tourism landscape that combines natural resources such as Nui Coc Lake, Phuong Hoang Cave, Ba Be National Park, and the ATK Dinh Hoa historical site, along with agricultural potential represented by tea-growing areas such as Tan Cuong and La Bang. The province is also home to nearly 1,200 historical and cultural relics.

These potentials and advantages have attracted millions of visitors for sightseeing and experiential travel. In recent years, tourism infrastructure and services have continued to receive investment and upgrades. Currently, Thai Nguyen has 787 tourist accommodation establishments, including 95 hotels rated from two to three stars, and 691 guesthouses and standardized accommodation facilities.

Together with more than 4,700 restaurants and around 50 operating travel enterprises, tourism services are increasingly meeting the diverse needs of visitors.

In 2025, tourism revenue in the province is estimated to exceed VND 7.4 trillion, reaching 104.6% of the plan, affirming the increasingly important role of tourism in the socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen Province.
