Thai Nguyen University cooperates with Star Telecom (Unitel)

On the afternoon of November 4, Thai Nguyen University held a working session with a delegation from Star Telecom (Unitel), a company under the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group, to discuss cooperation and recruitment consultation at the university.

In recent years, Thai Nguyen University has maintained comprehensive cooperation with the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group, particularly in the effective implementation of the university’s digital transformation project. Viettel has also provided support in training and scientific research, assisted students during their internships, supported expert training in semiconductor, information, and communication technologies, and conducted training for IT staff.

Star Telecom (Unitel) is a joint venture between the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group and Lao Asia Telecom, and is currently the leading telecommunications operator in Laos. After more than 16 years of establishment and development, Unitel is now seeking to recruit new talent and wishes to cooperate with Thai Nguyen University to develop high-quality human resources.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged and discussed strategic orientations for the development of high-quality human resources. Star Telecom (Unitel) will support Thái Nguyên University in student recruitment and in the employment of Lao students.
