"Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen"

Innovation needs to focus on the effective application of science and digital transformation, mobilizing the entire community's participation in driving innovation. This was the guiding spirit emphasized by Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, at the launch ceremony of the first "Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen" Competition in 2025, held this morning (February 11).

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Huy Dung delivered a directive speech.

The Program was attended by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Head of the Competition Organizing Committee; leaders of provincial departments, agencies, and localities; as well as representatives of business associations and cooperatives in the province.

In his directive speech at the ceremony, Comrade Nguyen Huy Dung, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, issued by the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation, once again affirmed the importance of developing science, technology, innovation and digital transformation as decisive factors for the development of nations. These are the prerequisites and the best opportunities for our country to achieve prosperity and strength in the new era - the era of the nation's rise. Comrade Dung expressed his hope that the "Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen" Competition would mobilize the participation of the business community and the general public in innovation to enhance production efficiency, business operations and all aspects of social life. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Alongside the leading role of the state, the involvement of business associations, cooperative alliances and individual cooperatives is crucial.

Identifying innovation as a need to focus on effectively applying science and digital transformation to renew familiar practices, Comrade Dung urged departments, agencies, and localities to engage with the highest sense of responsibility. Each sector and field should develop specific initiatives within their scope to participate in the Competition, thereby inspiring and spreading the spirit of innovation across the entire sector. During implementation, attention should be paid to projects and initiatives that, though small, are practical, highly applicable, and meaningful. It is essential to promote a leading role, identify technological solutions, attract socialized investment sources, and organize inspections, evaluations, and measures to replicate effective initiatives and models. 

Chairman of the Provincial Business Association - Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi expressed the willingness of the business community to spread and accompany the Competition

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association shared about the experience of spreading the spirit of innovation in the TNG ecosystem. At the same time, he also expressed his delight at the strong commitment of various levels and sectors under the direct leadership of provincial leaders in driving innovation. The Chairman of the Provincial Business Association expressed confidence that, with determination and resolve, especially through the "Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen" Competition, the spirit of innovation will spread and become a crucial driving force for Thai Nguyen to achieve breakthrough and prosperous development.

At the Launching Program, a Memorandum of Understanding on sponsorship was signed between the Competition Organizing Committee and the Provincial Business Association

The first "Innovation - For Beloved Thai Nguyen" Competition in 2025 aims to honor, encourage and spread the spirit of innovation, recognizing small actions with significant meanings by exemplary organizations and individuals who have positively contributed to innovative activities. These contributions bring practical benefits to the province's socio-economic development, helping to build a more prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and developed Thai Nguyen. The competition is open to organizations and individuals who have created or applied achievements, technical solutions, technologies and management solutions to enhance socio-economic development efficiency, improve productivity, quality and added value of goods and products. These solutions must have been effectively implemented in practice, contributing to the socio-economic development of Thai Nguyen Province. All innovative projects in the fields of production, business and social life within Thai Nguyen Province are eligible to participate. Projects must clearly demonstrate innovation, have specific socio-economic effectiveness and yield high practical results in the province.
