As of the end of August 2023, Thai Nguyen has granted new registrations for 733 enterprises, with a total registered capital of 6,962 billion VND. Adjustments were made for 1,168 businesses, and 301 subsidiary units were established.

Furthermore, 341 enterprises have resumed operations. However, 628 businesses have temporarily ceased their activities, while 67 businesses have been dissolved.
Consequently, the total number of businesses in the province currently stands at 9,516, with a total registered capital of 142,340 billion VND.
In the past eight months, the province has approved investment decisions and granted investor approvals for 8 projects, with a total capital of over 1,424 billion VND. It has also approved investor decisions for 10 projects, with a total capital of 7,002 billion VND, and increased the capital for 2 projects, with an additional 919 billion VND.
Cumulatively, 863 non-budget projects are still active in the province, totalling nearly 159,200 billion VND.
