In his address, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue praised the children's participation in the session.

He said: "The children's outstanding performance at the session shows that the hypothetical NA session is an effective model to encourage the early participation of children in socio-economic activities, thus ensuring their rights and interests and directing them to become responsible citizens and possibly future leaders. Their discussion and particularly the Resolution of the session will be the basis for the National Assembly, the Government, ministries and sectors to consider when adopting policies concerning the children."
The National Assembly Chairman urged for better care, protection and education for children, asking NA agencies, NA deputies, and social organizations to strengthen the oversight of the exercise of children's rights. He asked relevant agencies to strengthen the implementation of policies on child care, paying special attention to orphaned children, children with disabilities,  ethnic minority children, and children of workers.
