14 provinces to attend National Culture Festival of Dao Ethnic people in Thai Nguyen

On the afternoon of September 12, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired the meeting of the Organizing Committee of the 2nd National Culture Festival of Dao ethnic people that will take place in Thai Nguyen province.

The 2nd National Culture Festival of Dao Ethnic people will officially take place with the participation of nearly 2,000 artisans, artists, actors, and mass athletes from 14 provinces where Dao ethnic people live.

Many special cultural, sports, and tourism activities will take place within the festival's framework.

According to the report of the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, to date, the Organizing Committee has completed many important tasks. The remaining work is also being urgently implemented to ensure the plan.

At the meeting, representatives of relevant units, departments, and branches contributed ideas and discussed options for the preparation and organization of the festival, especially the plan to handle situations in the outdoor event; traffic safety; technical problems, solutions applying digital technology; art program; communication and promotion activities of the festival.

Speaking at the meeting, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee suggested that departments, agencies, branches, and localities, based on their assigned tasks, continue to prepare all conditions for the festival; closely coordinate with relevant agencies to ensure the festival's safety and success.
