According to the recent decision of the Vietnam Craft Village Association, in 2022, Thai Nguyen province has six individuals conferred the title of "Vietnamese craft village artisans".

The individuals conferred this title are all heads of cooperatives in the field of tea production and processing in the province, including Ms. Vu Thi Thanh Hao, Song Cau town (Dong Hy district); Dao Thanh Hao, Tan Cuong commune; Vu Thi Dung, Quang Trung ward; Do Thi Hiep, Phuc Xuan commune (Thai Nguyen city); Dao Thi Thoi, Phu Xuyen commune (Dai Tu district); Tong Thi Xuyen, Vo Tranh commune (Phu Luong district).
According to the regulations, individuals considered for this title must meet many high criteria, those with high production technical skills, know much know-how, and are enthusiastic about preserving and transmitting the profession to the younger generations, recognized by the community.
Thus, from 2016 to now, the province has 11 individuals conferred this title. In addition to the tea production and processing field, Thai Nguyen has one artisan producing and processing Chung cake, belonging to Banh Chung Bo Dau Craft Village.
The conferment is the motivation for individuals to continue contributing, preserving, and promoting traditional craft villages' values in the localities.
According to the plan, individuals will be awarded titles at the 10th Vietnam Craft Village Awards Ceremony in 2022, organized by the Vietnam Craft Village Association, at the end of this year.
